The house itself was great

Rating:

We wound up here kind of by accident, and were so glad we did! The impending heat wave in the Seattle region had us scrambling to find somewhere with A/C and WiFi so my husband could work remotely. Finding a place with anything else going for it wasn't even the original plan, so we were really excited when we found this house!

The lake is gorgeous. It was very hot while we were there, but we still swam for hours every day. There was plenty of space on the beach for us to get set up with a picnic blanket and toys, and I always felt I could keep track of my kids while we were out. They loved the "lily pads" that the resort puts out there for people to use. We didn't use many of the other amenities, because everyone just wanted to hang out at the lake.

The house itself was great! Perfect size for our family of five. We even had a couple empty beds in the bunk room. The house was very clean when we arrived, and felt safe in this time of pandemic. The kitchen had everything we needed, including the two items I usually can't find in a rectal house: Sharp knives and a pasta pot!

Half the downstairs is surrounded by a covered and netted veranda, which was an amazing space. In cooler weather we would definitely have kicked the kids out there more often, or used it as a grownups hangout space.

We were very happy with our stay and would absolutely recommend both this lake and this house! What started out as a trip of desperation turned into a lovely little family vacation. – Jennifer, Online Review
